I try Norton,McAfee,bitdefender,nod32,avg,Kaspersky,avast and other Antivirus and the best its the Kasperksy,norton is not antivirus is " walcomevirus " nod32 its not good, mcafee good but KAV its the best of all! KAV can find more virus,trojan from other AVs only thing Kav is not good is the GUI for me!

IF you dont liek Norton dont comment simple, I bet half the n00bs on KIS 6.0 dont know it has a major flaw where it f00ks CHKDSK, this is still ongoing since forum posts in 2005, they aint even bothered to fix it yet.
Now My 2 Raptors are slow as hell as stage 2 of CHKDSK hangs for 30secs (please check the Kaspersky forums), I had hoped to test KIS 2006 and find a replacement for Norton, Im now about to test Trend PC, I need Internet Security type with antismpa for mail and ad banner blockers all the swings and whistles, KIS did that but at expense of messing up filling system, now I need format.
Norton AV is hungry but rest is ok in the SYS Works.
Nod32 is good uses little resources, I install and scan a odd time mostly I fit and gorget as its complecated at times, and I had to add a expection to IMON to stop is freezing my torrent client, ptoblem is I then dont have a good firewall with antispam and ad banner blockers, Ive tried 3rd party ones etc etc, but I want a all for one package ideally.

I'm in Vietnam and using NSW 2006 (I have no Internet connection). In my country, Norton is one of the best. But I think it waste my RAM and CPU for useless displaying and it will become non-useable if you dont' "update" its database. The same for Mac, KIS, AVG,... . Most of anti virus programs now dont' allow you to update manually (KIS6.0, AVG 7 Edition) So I just have Norton to use after all. But I'm afraid that they may do the same thing in NSW 2007 - no Internet - no update. :( In my country, Internet fee is very expensive and low in quality...But the virus and others pass our computers everyday!

Anyone who knows anything about malware wouldn't be stupid enough to put any Norton products on their computer. The only people who will buy this product are probably first-time pc buyers who get offered a discount in the shop they buy their pc from and dont know any better.
If you want to see what a real anti-virus can do try either Kaspersky or F-secure!!!
